Laughlin works primarily in acrylics, expressing himself through both realism and surrealism. He is known for capturing minute detail, often in an intimate format, as well as stunning sensory explorations that offer the viewer a tangible grasp of an overall sense of place and subject.
David Laughlin’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, museums and juried shows, and his pieces are found in many private and corporate collections. He is also represented by Fleming Street Gallery in Key West, Florida.
